As we move into 2016, I personally plan on leaving all the bullshit outrage behind in 2015. Sure there are good fights I will fight, and many social issues that are very close to home, but I will be taking internet outrage with a pinch of salt. This is actually something I’ve been doing for a while already, and this week’s Short Film Weekend may help to explain why…

This skit entitled #Equality does an amazing job of portraying exactly how ridiculous people can get with their outrage about … well, nothing.

When you talk to people in person, and see the life in them, the beauty in who and what they are; you realize there’s a lot less bullshit. Now I’m not saying the world is a perfect place, but I am saying that if you appreciate the little things, and look around you, you’ll realize how awesome the world is.
