The Disaster Artist Trailer #1 – James Franco’s Oscar Performance?

Guys this looks GREAT! A few months ago we got our first teaser for The Disaster Artist, starring James Franco, Dave Franco and Seth Rogen. That teaser focused on the iconic rooftop scene from The Room (the making of which is the central story of The Disaster Artist), and we saw Franco playing Tommy Wiseau trying to remember his lines.

It was hilarious! Now we’ve got our full first trailer for the film that drops on 8 December 2017. Enjoy!

This is absolutely amazing, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Franco gets an Oscar nomination for this role. How ironic would that be? But seriously, he’s completely disappearing into what I assume would be a version of the real young Tommy Wiseau!

This film is based on the book, The Disaster Artist, written by Greg Sestero who co-starred alongside  Wiseau in The Room. He will be played by Dave Franco, while Seth Rogen plays Sandy Schklair.
