Top Movie Trailers This Week – Annihilation, Gotti & More
Ladies and gents, we are back with another round-up of the week’s top trailers! We have a few good ones this week. Enjoy!
Annihilation
Alex Garland (Who directed Ex Machina) is working with the likes of Natalie Portman, Oscar Isaac and Tessa Thompson in his latest film, Annihilation.
All I have to say about that is…
Natalie Portman can get it. And by "it", I mean an award for her performance in the #Annihilation trailer alone.

The Killing of a Sacred Deer
Look, this is from the creator of The Lobster, and we all know that was batshit crazy! I’ve heard people saying that this film is messed up, unnerving and might make you lose your mind as much as people who watched mother! lost theirs. Interesting…
NOTE: This trailer gives away quite a bit, so I would advise that you maybe don’t watch this one. Yeah, I know… Sorry.
Gotti
John Travolta is back in a gangster film! He did quite a decent job and was almost unrecognisable in The People vs OJ Simpson as Robert Shapiro. Now he’s back as as mobster John Gotti. Also we may just have to come to terms with the fact that Travolta just looks like that now. People get old, get over it!
Maze Runner: The Death Cure
It was sad to hear that the production on this film came to a standstill after the lead actor Dylan O’Brien was involved in a severe accident while filming the latest installment in the franchise. Maybe it was karma for what the cast of the film allegedly did to that Native American burial ground. Just saying…
Thor: Ragnarok
A 3rd trailer for Thor: Ragnarok has been released; this one aimed at an international audience.
Acts of Vengeance
Looks like Antonio Banderas is doing his version of John Wick.
Darkest Hour
Look, all I’m saying is that Gary Oldman went in on this one. His transformation to play Winston Churchill is amazing, and this has potential Oscar written all over it, if you look at what he’s gone through, the type of film, and the time of release.
Pitch Perfect 3
This just looks like a ton of fun overall.
Father Figures
Looks like a good fun romp of a movie. Basically everything Ed Helms stars in, ever.
The Death of Stalin
Apparently a good comedy. I’m not particularly interested yet…
Hope you enjoyed this week’s trailers! Don’t forget to share this post if you did.
