Stranger Things Season 2

Man, you can see they got a shit ton more budget this season! I’m really looking forward to more 80’s nostalgia with amazing storytelling.

Ready Player One

My most anticipated film. I recently read the book, and if you’re a gamer, you’re gonna love this film. Also, go read the book! Or check out the summary by Thug Notes.

The Defenders

Everything is great about this (except Iron Fist, everyone hates Iron Fist). I mean, no hate on Fin Jones, but DAMN! Anyway, I dig how sassy JJ is, and Sigourney Weaver is just a total badass as usual.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle

Yes they are back, and they’re not even TRYING to make a grand reveal out of the fact that Harry is still alive. That takes a lot of balls. I wonder why they made that decision. We’ll have to wait for the Blu-ray commentary to find out I guess.

Pacific Rim: Uprising

Oh yeah! This teaser is more of an advert for the Jaegers in the world of the film, with our first real look at John Boyega in the lead. You can tell that Idris Elba’s character was his dadio! So cool.

The Shape of Water

He’s not directing the follow-up to Pacific Rim, but Guillermo del Toro’s latest film looks visually stunning and seems to be a heartfelt love story. The fact that the protagonist is a mute woman also adds to the visual appeal of the film, as it seems to be captured from this perspective of the world.

Bright

Will Smith and Joel Edgerton are partners in this fantasy world where orcs and magical creatures roam earth.

TV SHOWS

Game of Thrones Comic-Con Season Preview
