Disney’s The BFG Trailer #2

Hey kids! I’ve been away to a magical land for a while, but now I’m back at it again (with the white Vans). Nope, I don’t have white Vans, but I did get a new pair of kicks. That’s neither here nor there.

I’m actually here to tell you about a cool new trailer that just dropped for Steven Spielberg’s latest film, based on the book by Roald Dahl, The BFG, or The Big Friendly Giant. Enjoy…

This looks like a ton of fun, but also has that dark element to it. Spielberg is actually great at directing kids using material that’s darker than average. And that’s a very light way of describing anything from Dahl. Let’s hope this film can capture the true essence of Dahl’s magical storytelling.

The film is set for release on 1 July 2016 (US), and stars RUby Barnhill, Rebecca Hall, Mark Rylance, Bill Hader, Jemaine Clement, and a ton of other awesome people.
