Star Trek Beyond Trailer

Okay, let’s just all be honest for a sec. Everyone is focusin on one “Star” franchise this week, and we all know what that is.

That didn’t stop the new Star Trek Beyond trailer from coming out this week, which you can see below…

Watching this trailer, I feel like someone saw the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer and decided that they wanted it to be like that. It doesn’t feel very Star Trek-ish at all; it’s way too upbeat.

The vote count on the YouTube video suggests that there’s a huge number of people who don’t like it either. I guess JJ Abrams doesn’t really care, as he’s marching to the bank on this and Star Wars over the next few years – even if Shatner thinks he’s a pig for doing that.

It seems like all the new alien movies are being sneaky with their trailers this week as the new Independence Day Resurgence trailer also dropped Sunday night.
