Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is a thing… and here’s the new trailer

The trend of taking any source material and putting a contemporary spin on it has taken the world by storm in recent years. If you can’t come up with anything new, either reboot it or reboot it with a supernatural twist.  We got Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Hansel and Gretal: Witch Hunters was a thing, too. And now I present to you: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

As ridiculous as this whole concept seems, it might just be a revelation, in the same way Sharknado was. It’s so bad it’s actually good. And I LOVE zombies so I’m definitely on board with that.

Not forgetting that the cast includes Cinderella, Doctor Who and TWO Lannisters. They all decided to take the piss and star in this film. Or do they know something we don’t?

Could this be the masterpiece of 21st century cinema? The trailer looks decent. But mostly because I refuse to take it seriously and once you let go of that, I think it might just be enjoyable.

Jane Austen will be rolling around in her grave if she saw this… mostly because she’s probably a zombie.
