Golden Globes 2018 Nominations

The Golden Globes recently announced their full list of nominees for 2017. This awards ceremony, coupled with what happens at the various Hollywood guild awards later on, is usually an indicator of what the Oscars will look like next year… Usually.

The latest list had some snubs and surprises, including a bunch of great women not being nominated for Best Director (see: Greta Gerwig for Lady Bird, and Dee Rees for Mudbound as examples), and then there was Get Out, which was nominated for Best Comedy or Musical… Alrighty then.One thing we are happy about is all the love that The Shape of Water is getting.
