X-Men: Days of Future Past Trailer

They’re back. And this time they’re blending the old and new, and by new I actually mean the older versions of the new. Or, wait, you know what I mean. This time the past and present collide.

While I’m never overly-optimistic of time-travel movies due to the fact that it’s a can of worms when it comes to plot holes. Apparently, due to the inconsistencies between the previous X-men films and the prequel, X-men: First Class, this story was created to mend and explain those little continuity errors with a time travel movie. It’s worth a shot.

Some familiar faces are back: Bryan Singer is back in the directors seat, Wolverine is back (although he never seems to go away) and the rivalry/friendship between Patrick Stewart (Prof. X) and Sir Ian McKellan (Magneto) continues.

James McAvoy (Prof. X with hair) and Michael Fassbender (young Magneto) are back too. We’re also introduced to Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) who is the creator of the Sentinels (mutant-hunting robots). So that’s, you know, not good for the X-men.

Enjoy the trailer!

About the author: Dean is a co-founding member of BTG Lifestyle who was once called a mutant in school. He doesn’t have powers – he just looks kinda weird.
