X-Men: Apocalypse Poster Revealed

Ladies and gentlemen, the Apocalypse is near! I know I sound like a crazy homeless person shouting in the streets but I care assure you I am sitting in my home and I am shouting on the internet.  The Apocalypse I am referring to is that of the X-Men variety.

Today the first official poster for the film was released. It is of course very minimal, but the real excitement comes with the news that a trailer will be released tomorrow! That’s right. In between all the Star Wars hype, Bats v Supes anticipation and Civil War eagerness, the mutant race will not be forgotten.

As a big fan of the franchise, I am looking forward to his one, especially since this will be the end of the prequel trilogy and our heroes face there biggest obstacle yet, the all powerful En Sabah Nur AKA Apocalypse, speculated to be the first mutant and is immortal.

We got a glimpse of Apocalypse in the post credits sequence of X-Men Days of Future Past, and although he does not look at big and intimidating as he does in the comics, he is very powerful and might just surprise us. We also got a glimpse at four figures – the four horsemen – who are powerful beings who are at Apocalypse’s right hand men/women. It is widely speculated that the horsemen will be Storm, Psylocke, Angel and Magneto.

Hopefully we’ll see more in the trailer to be released tomorrow!
