Leonardo DiCaprio Fights a Bear in new ‘The Revenant’ Trailer
If you’ve been wondering what power team director Alejandro González Iñárritu and cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki have been up to since they scooped up all those awards at The Oscars last year (well to be fair they were working on this before then). Well here’s a good answer.
The Revenant stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, Will Poulter and a bunch of other really talented actors. The story takes place in the 1820s, when a frontiersman, Hugh Glass (DiCaprio) sets out on a path of vengeance against those who left him for dead after a bear mauling. The most epic thing about the new trailer is that we get a glimpse of the actual bear mauling, which is ridiculously well choreographed!
Despite reports of severe weather conditions making the production of the film hell, at this rate, the Iñárritu and Lubezki powerhouse seem to be unstoppable in terms of creating amazing films that look awesome and deal with some really interesting stories.
Here’s the first trailer for The Revenant that was released a couple of months back:
What are your thoughts on The Revenant? Do you think Leo will finally win an Oscar for his role in this film?
