Zoolander and Hansel invade Paris Fashion Week

Everything I know about fashion (and I know very little about the subject) I learned from Zoolander (2001). This highly-entertaining and completely ridiculous film is a cult classic and when I heard rumours of a sequel, naturally I geeked out harder than I should have. And today it was set in stone with an official announcement in the most epic of ways.

Ben Stiller as Derek Zoolander and Owen Wilson as Hansel (he’s so hot right now) broke the internet today by appearing on the Maison Valentino Runway at Paris Fashion Week. Had it not been for the fact that I follow Ben Stiller on Instagram I probably would have missed it. I’m not saying I’m hopeless when it comes to fashion, but I’ve worn this same peanut butter-stained sweater for three days now. So you do the math.

Regardless, this epic announcement was what I had been waiting for. A teaser trailer is good, but appearing at a world famous fashion show, modelling designer clothing and sporting the Blue Steel/Magnum/Ferrari/Le Tigre made almost as much waves as that damn gold and white/blue and black dress.

Zoolander 2 is scheduled to be released in February 2016. But for now, get excited!
