Earlier this week we got a brief teaser for Dawn of Justice where Superman unmasks a detained Batman, and the two titans stand face-to-face. This teaser seems to sum up how things go down when Batty and Supe throw down, since Clarke is obviously much stronger.
Now we’ve just been given a full-fledged trailer where Bruce and Clarke have words, Lex makes an appearance, and a certain Amazonian shows up too. Enjoy…
For me, this rendition of Lex Luthor just feels out of place, and many people seem to agree if you look around the net. The CGI Doomsday just doesn’t look as great as I had expected, and this revelation that Luthor uses the corpse of Zod to create Doomsday is a bit of a spoiler if you ask me. Everything else in the trailer flows really well, and I think the dynamic between Superman and Batman will be really great in the film.
The Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice synopsis reads as follows:
“Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’ most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.”
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams, Holly Hunter, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, and Jeremy Irons. Ray Fisher and Jason Momoa are also in the film, but do not appear in this trailer (I think).
