The Voices Trailer – Ryan Reynolds Talks to Animals

Yesterday I saw this trailer pop up all over my news feed, but I wasn’t that interested, and managed to ignore it until late last night when I was doing some writing and needed a small distraction.

I was surprised with this one; I had no idea that the film was this dark. When I read the headlines saying that Ryan Reynolds talks to animals in his latest movie, I really expected it to be some kiddie or family flick.

Crazy, huh? As crazy as a guy who talks to animals and cuts off women’s heads. Now that’s ludicrous! I’m keen on watching this movie, but I don’t know I feel about the subtext of violence against women specifically (which appears to be all of his victims), because that’s kind of not cool.
